Description: Here we have a 1965 signed document by John Lennon. This is a partial BBC teleplay signed in red biro by John Lennon. It has been affixed into a first edition of John's book "in his own write". This was signed on 18th June 1965, the book is in very good condition, a few pages becoming loose. This was signed by John when he was interviewed by Cliff Michelmore on the BBC's "Tonight" Programme, he was there promoting his latest book "A Spaniard in the Works", he signed a copy of the teleplay for that evening's show and signed it for the show's freelance producer, Alan Blaikley, who then gifted it to his sister, Marian (she stuck it into John's 1st book). Alan was a songwriter, responsible for writing many international hit songs in the 1960's-1970's, he sadly passed away in 2022.
