Description: This Inland M1 carbine type2 has been cut down to a low cut stock and is marked IO & Ordinance Cannon. I would say very strong markings but they're not forged they are original the stock was well taken care of by a soldier . It is a great addition to any one looking to restore their carbine It also comes with a very nice handguard that fits perfect and has a strong IO marking on it. Again not a forgery. Also a really good inland butt plate diamond which is kind of rare but it's definitely early corrected the stock and the recoil plate is a DI. This is one of the best stocks I've seen in a while that has strong markings. This original piece was made in the United States and is a rare find for collectors. The carbine is in excellent shape and would be a valuable addition to any collection.
