Description: This is a lot of vintage toys made of aluminum/tin/metal for the most part, there are a few plastic items as well. Including plastic and metal forks, knives and spoons, there are 132 items. These come from a private collector who started the collection in the 1940s. The set in the 9th and 10th photos are marked Ohio Art. The tray is signed Elaine Ends Hileman and is unmarked but I believe it is also from Ohio Art. The salt and pepper shakers are plastic and are marked Ideal. There are 12 metal knives and forks marked "Made in U.S.A." The rest are unbranded. The pineapple juice can and steak are metal. There are 47 plastic spoon, knives and forks, including some that appear vintage (18th photo). The three metal plates in the 17th photo have images of Humpty Dumpty and Jack Jumping over the Candlestick. I am unsure of the age of these items. They do have expected play wear and tear, paint loss, scratches, dings and dents. My personal opinion, although plastic dishes are more durable they lack the charm and authenticity of metal, which is more realistic! These toys were loved and clearly played with!
