Description: One of the largest I have, this is an antique Tin or similar metal Classic 5-Point Star COOKIE OR CAKE CUTTER. I have not been able to find a manufacturer mark, but I have never seen another. I was told this was probably made in Germany, around 1900, but I cannot verify that. The wide strap handle is riveted, and rusty across top. The star itself has the top edge lapped over, all way around, lending it sturdiness. Just over 1 3/8" high, it could either be a cake cutter, or a cookie cutter. No manufacturer name I can see. SIZE: Approx 10 1/2" across, and 1 7/8" to top of handle. CONDITION: There is typical tin surface patina, and the top of the handle has a coat of rust.
