Description: Made by Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. of Wheeling, West Virginia. This is their pattern #323, which was introduced in 1886 and made for just a few years. The pattern is known as Hobnail or Dew Drop. It is distinguished by a crimped rim and hobnails on the body of the piece. When #323 has an amber rim and a satin-frosted finish on the body (as you see here), it is known as Frances Ware.
