Description: This Rare Staffordshire blue transferware creamer pitcher is a beautiful piece of historical pottery. Made in England by Thomas Mayer in 1825, it boasts an oval shape and a glossy finish. The pitcher features a romantic theme of a loving couple(have never seen another) and is adorned with the classic blue and white design. Crafted from ceramic, this creamer pitcher is an original piece and not a licensed reproduction. It would make a fantastic addition to any collection of antique pottery. Don't miss out on the chance to own this piece of history. Creamer measures 4 7/8” tall by 5 3/4” from the tip of the spout to the handle. As with most historical pieces unfortunately there are defects present. With handle to left along the rim there are small flea bites along the rim, only one is visible closer to the spout approx. 30 mm in length. With the handle to the right approximately 6 larger flea bites on the rim, two that are 50mm in length and 3 that are under 30mm and one one that is Under 20 mm in length. There is a crack on both sides, and really can only be seen from the inside! At the top of the handle there is a large chip. Please see all photos for an accurate description! This creamer is almost 200 years old! It’s incredible when these historical pieces survive at all! I will accept returns on this piece if you are not satisfied!!!
