This cord is incredibly strong and will resist fraying, stretching, and fading. The pendant is a sterling silver pendant depicting flowers and leaves, made by the Karen Hill Tribe in Northern Thailand. It measures 1 1/4" long from the top of the attached bail and 5/8" wide. The Karen Hill Tribe people make incredible silver beads and pendants, created completely by hand, in the remote mountain areas of Thailand. They are made using centuries-old, traditional methods in distinctive Hill Tribes styling. These are made of a higher purity than 92.5% sterling silver. Because the actual range is 95-99% purity, these products are softer, have a whiter color, and will not tarnish as readily as sterling silver.
