Heywood Wakefield M163G Junior Dining Extension Table and leaf in original Wheat finish and very good condition. M163G is, in my experience, one of the better made HW dining tables with HEAVY, solid birch construction and oval, mortised and removable (without tools), legs that fasten well and are not wobbly. The original finish is rough and someone tried to touch it up with whitewash or some such nonsense. The table needs to be refinished and this is an easy scrape, sand, and finish job. The birch is excellent other than one gouge shown in the pictures. This gouge could be filled or smoothed and be much less ugly. No other significant damage. Please see pictures. M163G dates to 1947-49 according to the Rouland book. Measures about 34" wide, 34" high, and 50" (64") deep. One 14" x 34" original leaf included. Smoke free home. US Sales only.
