It was designed to compete with the industry juggernaut of the era, Tektronix, thus HP spent two years developing and refining this unique and historic machine, as their best and most competitive debut entry into a new market. Unlike any other 150A units currently available, this one has the first version amplifier, the 152A model, as opposed to the later 152B.
