Description: The Monograms were Weber's top fly rods. They were made by Heddon, though a very few exceptional prizes were made BY Phillipson. The Hedon models were generally numbers 14, 17, and 20, but I believe this one to be a 10, because of the mottled reel seat and 8 snake guides. The rod is in beautiful shape. All four sections are full length (of course), the ferrules are perfect, and the cork and original sock both look brand new. Black and gray jasper wraps with orange edging. The rod's only flaw is that it needs half a wrap and someofthe edge wraps are gone (see photos). It will be shipped in the sock and a PVC tube.
