Spring tension on the hinged pressure plate is easily adjustable with a thumb screw.The sheller turns on sealed ball bearings for smooth operation and long life. For high strength, premium ductile steel (not brittle grey cast) is used throughout, and it features a tough, handsome powdercoat finish. The corn sheller's design automatically ejects empty cobs to the side, so they don't drop into your shelled grain. The sheller's 10" diameter crank wheel includes a pulley groove to accept a v-belt for powered operation.Please noteAfter a quantity of corn is shelled, the box and sheller can be lifted out, leaving your tote full of grain. Attention1. The handle should be cranked clockwise not anticlockwise .2. By adjusting the screw with a spring to coincide with the size of the corn; for a big one, you should press the corn while turning the handle.3. Corn cob had better be dewatered less than 5 % before taken off. The dryer the corn cob is, the easier the operation is .4.
