Heatwave: The Groove Line 1978 Epic 15-2373 Sterling Terre Haute Repressing NM-

Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single by Heatwave title "The Groove Line b/w Mind Blowing Decisions", originally released in 1977 by Epic Records, then reissued by Epic Records as part of their Memory Lane Series of reissues. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for 45 RPM singles, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The original inner sleeve is graded as Very Good Plus because of some small tears and wrinkles along the top opening and creased corners. In the dead wax between the labes and the end of the tracks, is machine stamped an upper case "T", followed by "Sterling" and the matrix numbers 1-C/1-C, indicating that this record was mastered at Sterling Sound of New York City, New York before early stampers were used to make this record at Columbia Records' pressing plant, located in Terre Haute, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint Minus because of a few superficial sleeve marks, but still with surfaces that are shiny and bright, in a like new-condition, without any surface scratches or scuffs. I'm play grading this record between Excellent and Near Mint Minus because of occasional low levels of surface noise, more noticeable during the quietest sections of playback. It plays all the way through without any pops, skips or lock-ups from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a Terre Haute pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. Please read all descriptions and look at all pictures, as this is a final sale and I do not accept returns. Thank you for viewing my listing. I've been collecting records for more that 50 years and always clean them before and after playback to keep them in a pristine condition. I try to describe them to the best of my ability and use record grading guidelines like the Goldmine rating system as reference. Since retiring, I've begun to sell my very esoteric collection via my Ebay store (bobsanalogemporium) and will offer discounts for multiple sales. I always pack the items for sale in an archival inner sleeve, then put them in either a Kraft paper bubble mailer with sturdy cardboards or cardboard record mailers, always with the records separate from the jackets or its original picture sleeve, then sandwiched between sturdy cardboards before shipping. Please read all descriptions carefully and note all pictures before-hand, as I do not accept returns. Please visit my Ebay store for records, 45's, cassette tapes and comics of all different genres. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you viewing my listing.
