Description: This Hamilton Model 22 WWII era Marine Chronometer is dated 1942. Crafted with brass as the primary material, this vintage original chronometer was made in the United States and served the US Navy during World War II. Its precise timekeeping capabilities were essential for naval warfare, and it remains a valuable antique for collectors of maritime memorabilia. The chronometer is in good working order. Purchased through eBay in 2021 and arrived in good condition. In my experience it runs for a minimum of 58 hours when fully wound.
