Description: After much research, I found a lot about Gouda pottery. This one of a kind candle stick is a beautiful piece from the Gouda Collection. The artist, Ardianus Kok, was in the studio from 1898-1904. I am dating the piece to the latest since there is no real other way to date these pieces. No chips cracks in the pottery or glaze. It has a black base and has a swirl of very rich colors of purple, blue, green, red, orange, and a hint of yellow. Some wax residue remains in the bottom.
