The Custom Shop was established around 1993, and in 1999, the year before this model, the top carving, head shape, thin binding, neck joint, and hardware placement were revised, and the cherry color of the back was colored with aniline dye. The specs have been significantly updated under the supervision of Edwin Wilson, who has devoted himself to brushing up the Historic Collection. In addition, this model has been hand-aged by Tom Murphy, who was involved in the establishment of the Custom Shop with Edwin and is renowned for his high painting skills.The flame shows various expressions depending on the angle and the amount of light it receives. If you look closely, you will see fine frecks here and there, and the maple top will fill you with satisfaction just by looking at it. The mahogany back cut with a cross grain and the mahogany neck filled with vessels are both of high quality wood quality that you can tell at a glance. Since it was manufactured in 2000, there is some fading in the aniline dye on the back, but the remaining redness in key areas gives it a more atmospheric look. In addition, the weather check by master craftsman Tom Murphy has given it a more dignified look, like a vintage Les Paul.The pickup is equipped with a Burst Bucker. It has a thick, sweet, and extended sound that is typical of a Les Paul. The aged texture, which gives the impression that the bass has been reduced over time, is comfortable, and it responds well to picking, making it a good sound that you should enjoy directly through an amp. Because it is an aged model, it is difficult to judge the appearance of the guitar, but other than minor scratches and small scratches, there is not much damage due to use, and it gives a relatively clean impression considering its age. There is no significant damage that would spoil the atmosphere, and it is in good condition. The remaining number of frets is perfect, there are no unevenness or other irregularities, and the neck is in good condition with a sufficient height remaining, and the truss rod tightening width is also still left. The front volume pot has been replaced with a 250K one, and the jack plate has been replaced. All other parts are in original condition.
