Description: Wow! This is a seriously gorgeous opal. The play of color is present all over the entire stone. It is partially cut to freeform shape so as to make the most of it. It is actually beautiful enough on both sides to just frame it with a bezel frame so it can be reversible. although there are a few clouds on one side. Here is a beautiful LARGE chunk of Opal. It's big! 54 carats! A bumpy stone meaning there are no smooth flat edges. Also, the play of color is present all over the stone in different displays. On one side you see two bands of color separated. by a solid band of white. Some sides have flashes of red and other colors. Best to super scan the pics for better details. This is another one I wish Tom could have finished. It is so stunning!!!. It won't take much to finish it to your liking. All my opals are part of large amount of jewelry making stock remaining in my inventory. My husband, Tom, was an award winning jewelry artist. Sadly he passed away before he could cut it all.
