These diminutive, cup-shaped flowers have grass-like foliage and grow to a height of 4-6” tall. One of the earliest bulbs to bloom, crocus signals the end of winter and marks the beginning of spring. Outside temperature should be about 65 degrees Fahrenheit or cooler. Select a well-drained location that receives full sun to partial shade. Dig a hole 3-4" deep in loosened soil and place bulbs in the hole. Bulbs should be spaced about 2-4” apart. Plant them in the ground with their pointy ends up. Cover with soil and water well so the soil above the bulb settles.
