This classic and highly sought-after amp has served me extremely well for many years, but it's time to pass it on. These amps in good working condition don't come up very often. Especially with the included boost and chorus. This hot little amp can get a surprisingly full, loud sound. Everyone is amazed when I take this to a gig, and it easily fills up a medium-sized venue, keeping up with loud drummers and guitar amps. It does not lack for low end, despite its small size and lightweight, all-aluminum cabinet. The "volume" is what most manufactures label "gain," and the "output" is what most manufactures label "volume." Clean tone is achieved by keeping the volume low and turning up the output, while there's a very musical FET overdrive easily obtained by turning up the volume and turning down the output. The adjustible boost and chorus are controlled via the included foot switch. The included stand solves the problem of not properly hearing the high frequencies. I almost always take the stand when gigging with this amp. It also works amazingly well as a monitor with the DI out, although it's better behind you so that the full range of frequencies reaches the audience. The limiter is extremely useful for cutting transient peaks, so you don't need a separate compressor.
