I bought it in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in near perfect condition. It has been kept in the same condition as when I bought it. It has a beautiful sound and is perfect for a beginner to intermediate violinist. It also includes a rubber mold to place on the back of the bow to correct your bow hand posture. I upgraded my violin, and this violin has just been sitting away, unused since. It is tuned, but it will probably need to be re-tuned after shipping through the mail.
