After all, it is desirable to listen to it directly on the SP, but I was impressed by the wonderful sound quality that Opus Kura announced as a CD in quick succession a few years ago. I believed that 9 songs would be reprinted as they are. However, it is a pity that we ended up with only four songs played with the Vienna Philharmonic. This year is the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth, and I thought it would be meaningful to try to reprint it again in the absence of a complete collection that is satisfactory in sound quality. Originally it was a famous recording, and if you listen carefully, you can feel a moderate reverberation, and you can take off your hat again due to the high level of technology at that time. Weingartner is a conductor who creates Beethoven with an emphasis on flowing flow by eliminating the stagnation that is common to later generations of climbers. Beethoven after Weingartner can be roughly divided into fast streamlined agile performances and heavy performances with a majestic tempo. Performances other than the Vienna Philharmonic are also excellent. Even if you shake the London Orchestra, you can bring out the atmosphere of Vienna, and you will be amazed by the charming woodwinds and sensual portamento. Although the master wanted to re-record "Rural", it did not come true, and 1927 recording (a recording project commemorating the 100th anniversary of Beethoven's death!) And old recordings have been adopted. Moreover, in the old format of 80 rotations, trial and error was repeated especially for this reproduction. The master used is as shown separately. To put it simply, the Japanese version has less noise, but the sound lines tend to be thinner. The British, American, and French editions are attractive for their strength. This is a big worry about master selection. It cannot be said that the board of any country is the best, and the result of obtaining the appropriate board for each song is as follows. All are cleaned with the latest equipment and regenerated with our own modified cartridge to avoid unnecessary equalizing. This year, the world has been hit by a new virus, but with PER ASPERA AD ASTRA, which is in line with Beethoven's spirit, in mind, we are familiar with Weingartner's masterpiece. Will never be in vain. The liner notes are an excerpt and a new translation of Weingartner's own masterpiece "Beethoven's Symphony Performance".
