Description: This is a conversion chassis set (car is NOT included) for the RC10L and RC10Lss. Pics of a complete roller are to show how the completed conversion will look. AGAIN THIS IS NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT A COMPLETE ROLLER! No tires, no wheels, no suspension, no axle, no diff.... JUST A CONVERSION KIT. Until now, running a lipo pack in the old platform was a terrible balancing act. Now the battery is centered down the middle. The T plate is now a H plate, and it still retains the stock pivot ball assembly and tweak screws. The shock is relocated to the battery brace. You can use a full size lipo or a shorty (there are holes in the chassis and battery brace for a block off to keep the shorty in place). The H plate accepts both wide and SS pods. The front end is very adjustable- you can adjust the wheelbase from 9.5” to 10.5” (240-265mm) and the width from 7” to 8.5”! (178-216mm) (wheel offsets will alter this width, measurements taken from stock offset wheels). Perfect for your 10.5” wheelbase 200mm wide drag car! Remember to adjust the rear width you will need to spacer or modify the rear pod (best is to start with a SS pod so you can simply spacer it as needed). The full size servo fits perfectly between the arms even in the narrowest setting. A smaller servo is not needed. Customer will need to supply the linkage depending on the width and wheelbase setting used. The bumper bracket is removable for different body options. A 10L bumper will bolt up. You will notice a perimeter of holes for body mounts. Lots of options to fit most any body you can imagine. Note: For those that think the front end looks fragile, it’s not! It’s quite stout! Yes there is a little flex, and that can be helped with bracing the top of the arms once you find your perfect setting. That flex will save your vintage arms from breaking as easily. If you require a stiffer front end, one piece plates will be offered in specific wheelbase and widths as requested. The plates will be $18 shipped and be custom made for the customer.
