Excellent 1970s Wilesco D12 Live Steam Engine - Tested

Description: LIVING ESTATE SALE (Details at the end of description) SM/AE For your consideration is a Wilesco D12 Live Steam Engine made in Germany in the early 1970s. This Live Steam Engine is in excellent condition and as good as they come for having been fired.It was obviously well cared for and stored properly.It has been air tested (video) and should not give much trouble to operate on steam. Sometimes, an older gasket has dried up, needing replacement. Hopefully, that won't be the case. It is complete, including the box. The box was falling apart so I laminated each segment. It appears about complete but it is in a very poor condition (photos).It is all original. This is probably one of the last engines equipped with the early and sophisticated whistle/pressure relief valve. I did not see any rust or dent anywhere, simply a bit of 50 years old dust. The D12 Single Cylinder was discontinued a while back. That was 65 years ago. I have been collecting them for 25 years and I am now 74. None of my descendants is interested in the collection, so I decided that it was time to liquidate.
