It happens to me that periodically I have an item of exceptional beauty and value but it does have some issues. The beauty as far as I’m concerned outweighs the issues. It measures 9 inches across and stands 2 inches high. My concerns are as follows. Please see all pics. The center medallion/monogram has some wear. The entire gold edge has some wear as well. One edge has a spot of about 1-1.5 inches where someone has done a not very good restoration. I actually had this a couple months before I realized that. There is also a small under chip at the same spot. Easily could be restored properly. It also could be left as is and have that shabby chic look. The porcelain is rather heavy not sure the maker. I’m sure someone is going to want this as they say….Where will you find another.
