Description: Beautiful vintage, Ernest Borel Sea Gem all stainless steel screwback waterproof type case driven by a clean Fontainemelon FHF73 manual wind movement featuring a beautiful pearl dress dial with light patina (see photos). 1273 Every effort has been made to show all possible detail with photographs. All photos are of actual watch in auction. MOVEMENT: Clean Fontainemelon FHF73 17 jewel manual wind movement is signed: " Ernest Borel, seventeen 17 jewels, Swiss, KXB, FF73." Movement is clean and runs well, however has not been bench tested for precise accuracy or recently serviced. CASE: Clean, round all stainless steel screwback waterproof type case measures 30.15 mm in diameter without crown, 37.52 mm lug tip to tip, and 16 mm between lugs. Case back interior is signed "Ernest Borel & Co. S.A., Swiss Made, stainless steel." Case back is signed: "367290, 50251." Crystal is pristine. DIAL: Beautiful pearl dial with light patina (see photos) features raised stylized Arabic number at 12 o'clock, raised hashes at remaining hours, lumed stick hour and minute hands, sweep second hand, outer minute/seconds track. Dial is signed: "Borel, Sea Gem, T Swiss T." BAND: Fitted with quality brown padded stitched Norwegian calf band signed JB Champion, Norwegian calf.
