Description: Absolutely stunning vintage, Ernest Borel Sea Gem 20 micron gold plaque/stainless steel screwback waterproof type case driven by a clean Fontainemelon FHF73 manual wind movement featuring a magnificent understated dress dial. 1045 Every effort has been made to show all possible detail with photographs. All photos are of actual watch in auction. MOVEMENT: Clean Fontainemelon FHF73 17 jewel manual wind movement is signed: " Ernest Borel, seventeen 17 jewels, Swiss, KXB." Movement is clean and runs well, however has not been bench tested for precise accuracy or recently serviced. CASE: Clean, round 20 micron gold plaque/stainless steel screwback waterproof type case measures 30.02 mm across without crown, 36.33 mm lug tip to tip, and 15 mm between lugs. Case back interior is signed "Ernest Borel & Co. S.A., Swiss Made, stainless steel back. Bezel is signed: "plaque ORO20 micron". Case back is signed: "889991, 36658F." Crystal is clean and clear. DIAL: Stunning understated pearl dial features black Arabic numbers, black framed lumed stick hands, black sweep second hand, outer minute/seconds track with lumed dots at each hour. Dial is signed: "Borel, Sea Gem, Swiss." BAND: Fitted with gold plated stainless steel mesh band as shown. If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to contact seller.
