Description: This is the original pressing circa 1909–the only copy on eBay. Note the “Price $3.00 in USA” around the spindle hole and the design of the label with all the text at the bottom. 12”. Single sided. It’s been cleaned with a vacuum-based system using plain distilled water only. I’d be wary of any sellers that grade records before cleaning them, don’t provide good photos or many photos of the actual item you’re purchasing, or especially those that don’t provide any grade at all! My grade for this record is V, using the VJM system: Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive. No cracks. No edge chips though there is a mark on the rim at the 3 o’clock position. This was found in an album with several other 78s from the same period. The label has some damage around the spindle hole and a tiny spot of wear at about the 7 o’clock position near the outer edge of the label. I did my best to show the flaws of the record in the closeup pics. It looks worse in the pics that’s in real life! I grade accurately but conservatively. If you are unhappy with my grade after receiving the record, please contact me before leaving feedback and we will work it out. This will ship in a new record mailer, inside a box, reinforced with multiple layers of cardboard and padded by crushed paper or bubble wrap.
