Description: These are the EMCE, Diamond Select figures that preceded the similarly made Mego figures. The EMCE figures are more collectable and are of a higher quality than the more recently released Mego figures. These are from the following films by Universal Pictures: The Mummy (1932) with the likeness of Boris Karloff and any of the latter films, House of Frankenstein (1944), House of Dracula (1945), Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948), in which the Frankenstein monster was played by Glenn Strange. Most people who collect this figure don't realize that it is the Glenn Strange Frankenstein and NOT the Karloff. The Mummy is still sealed in his package, but there is a corner where the plastic cracked off (see pic). The Frankenstein has been removed from package only briefly for display, but package and figure are still in excellent to mint cond. These figures are getting harder to find, especially the Frankenstein.
