Description: Earl Lunsford Oklahoma State Cowboys Calgary Stampeders CFL Ticket Stub Football This is an unused, untorn ticket stub from the July 27, 2001 Canadian Football League game between the Calgary Stampeders and B.C. Lions featuring CFL Hall of Famer and former Oklahoma State player Earl Lunsford. Earl "Earthquake" Lunsford was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1933. He played for Oklahoma A&M, now known as Oklahoma State University. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles, but instead played six years in the Canadian Football League for the Calgary Stampeders. In the middle of his Stampeders career, he served in the U.S. Army for 2 years (1957-1958). Lunsford scored 5 touchdowns in a game in 1962. He would later serve as general manager of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers CFL team. He was inducted into the CFL Hall of Fame in 1983. Lunsford passed away in 2008. The stub says Conoco Canada Ltd and has ads for Renfrew, Global, and Enmax. Ticket stub is approximately 2.75" x 5.5".
