This is an amazing fibrous shell, with the rare and full checkerboard label still intact. Lovely patina. Clear rope edge details. Exhibits age-appropriate wear, notably previously repaired crack and chip on the right arm that have been filled in with resin (as depicted) and small surface dimples and shock mount shadows on the seat, as depicted. Selling as is and already reflected in the price. Other than that, it looks great for being over 70 years old and structurally solid. The shock mounts are firm and original. The X-base is original and includes detachable rubber boot glides. The boot glides are also original vintage and have some wear and tear.
