Description: A set of four vintage Dorothy Thorpe silver band barware lowball glasses from the 1950s. Each has a heavy base, feels substantial in the hand, and has a wide silver band across the rim. The silver rims have tarnishing/patina in varying degrees. They can be polished if desired, but the patina gives that lovely, aged appearance. In certain lighting, the silver almost looks like an oil slick. There is some wear to the tops of the glasses, which I tried capturing by picture, but this is to be expected considering their age. Each glass measures 3" in diameter, 3 1/2" tall, and weighs 10 3/8 ounces. Together, they weigh 2 pounds and 9 3/8 ounces.
