I believe this may have originally held florist delivered flowers as it has foam/styrofoam glued to the inside bottom. I have not tried to remove or to clean this collectible. I leave cleaning of collectibles to new owner/expert. The striking part of this lovely little item is the birds and pink flowering branch on each side. I *think* it is a long tailed tit but I am not certain of the flower. But it is a lovely little scene. The white porcelain has no chips, cracks or crazing. It remains in overall very good shape. Bottom says Fabrique En Chine. It stands approximately 4.5 inches tall and from spout to handle about 6 inches across.
