Rare South African pressing of David Oistrakh - Sonatas For violin And Piano (Tartini "Devil's Trill" Sonata & Mozart Sonata in B Flat, K 454.) Columbia Records (Blue/Silver label). Category number: 33JCX 1415. There is no date to either sleeve or record, so my assumption is that it was released in 1956. According to the other website, it is in Mono. Sleeve: VG+ (Cover is made of lighter card stock. Cover appears off-white/some light yellowing compared to the back. Some edge wear to the top. Bit of a nibble bottom right corner. Light corner wear. Some light wear to the spine that also affects the text, but mostly still legible. No writing. Very light ring impression. Bit of a smudge to Side 2 details back of cover as per photos. Inner sleeve: VG+ (original plain sleeve) Vinyl: VG++ (visually: Heavy vinyl with light sleeve lines/ superficial light marks under strong light. No scratches. Glossy. Clean labels with no spindle marks. Audibly: Plays VG+ (some light static in places, more apparent in quieter sections but this does not detract from the music at all (the same sort of sound that I hear on brand new classical records) Great sound.
