Characters based on his book of poetry, “the Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories,” he wrote to explain to people (mostly children) the realities of life; that things don’t always go your way. And that it is often difficult, if not impossible, to find love and a sense of belonging. Comes in cardboard window box, molded plastic holds each toy in place. Origin: Made in China. ©2003 Tim Burton, Inc. UPC: 761568125276. Approx. dimensions: box is: 9 ½” x 5 ¼” s 2 ¼” and weighs 9.5 oz. with toys included. The tallest character is 4” high. Condition/care: The toys are in perfect condition, the box in in very good condition with only the normal imperfections one would get from 20 years of storage: some corners are a little bit curled, color has worn off, little marks and creases about. The plastic window has a small crease in the upper left corner, otherwise it is in excellent condition. There is a small split in the plastic housing on the lower right side. Please look at the pictures. This comes from a climate-controlled, smoke- and pet-free environment.
