Description: An original Civil War era CDV photo of 22nd Connecticut Volunteer Private Frank Stone, seated & wearing a double breasted non-regulation overcoat bearing a mix of brass military & civilian cloth buttons. The image reverse is ink inscribed "Frank Stone, Hartford, Conn." The reverse also bears the photo imprint of Kellogg Brothers, Hartford, Conn. Comes w service info- Stone served 1862-1863 as a musician with the 22nd Connecticut Volunteers, a 9 month unit that served at Falls Church, Arlington, Yorktown & the Chickahominy, Virginia. Age dark on margins, Overall VG. I got this image with some CDVs of fellow musicians of units serving at Arlington & Fairfax, Virginia. Welcome to my Ebay Auctions and Ebay Store.
