Description: 2.75" X 2.75" approx. This is the earliest form of horse brass and pre-dates all the normal styles you will see. It is Victorian by default and probably dates to around 1870 or even earlier? Made by stamping a single sheet of metal then attaching the rear hanger afterwards by soldering. The central hole would have been used to thread a ribbon. The other tiny hole on the rim has been added later - probably for display purposes. I am always happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases, which is the way to reduce the cost per item. (It is possible to get the shipping cost per brass down to as low as $2-$3 each for a larger order of 10-20 assorted brasses - depending on what items you choose - please ask for combined invoice.) Talk to me about your personal situation. I will always work with you to minimise your shipping costs.
