These plants are well adapted for outdoor growth within United States hardiness zones 8 through 11. The lily grows from bulbs that can weigh more than 40 lbs. Crinum works well in the landscape as flowering specimens, mass plantings, accents or understory planting. Even novice gardeners should have few problems growing this hardy lily.
