A collection of WWII Catholic devotional items, to benefit several Carmelite Convents we work with. With each medal we will also be sending a copy of the chaplain's information and a picture.These pieces were stamped from brass shell casings and worn along with a Catholic GI's dog tags identifying them as Catholic and to call a priest in case of eminent death. On the back you can see space for the soldier's name, date of birth and blood type.The medal is 1.75 inches hanging length and weighs 8 grams of brass.
