Description: Calvin Begay Sterling Turquoise Inlay Ring Size 10 Navajo Native American Here's a marvelous turquoise inlay ring from celebrated Navajo silversmith Calvin Begay. The artist used a heavier gauge silver band and added an angular turquoise inlay section along the top of the ring. The inlay section makes the top of the ring thicker than the rest of the band. It is a size 10. The shank is 3/16" wide at its thinnest. The turquoise inlay section varies in width from 3/8" to 3/16". It is about 1" long. The ring face is about 3/16" deep. It weighs 8.3 g. There are two artist hallmarks. The first is "Calvin" for Calvin Begay. The second is "BL", indicating that this ring was a collaborative effort. It is possible that "BL" is for Navajo artist Bobby Lujan. This ring is new old stock, a piece coming from prior store inventory. Previously displayed but not sold.
