This kit simplifies the installation process, offering pre-fabricated components that are ready for assembly and welding.Installation Breakdown:1. Notch Installation- - The notch is a one-piece unit that slides over the truck's frame. - After positioning it correctly, it is welded to the frame. - The notch also includes pre-welded upper shock mounts on the crossbars for easier integration. 2. Frame Cutting and Reinforcement- - After the notch is welded in place, cut the frame in the required areas, especially the lower section, to allow for proper suspension travel. - Use the provided filler pieces to reinforce and box in the cut sections of the frame. 3. 2-Link Bars- - Install the 2-link bars onto the factory hangers. - The bars come pre-equipped with lower bag and shock mounts, simplifying bag and shock installation. - Secure the 2-link bars to the rear axle using the provided U-bolt kit. 4. Bag Mounts- - The upper bag mounts are positioned above the lower 2-link bag mounts. - Weld these upper mounts into place to complete the bag mounting setup. 5. Pan Hard Bar- - The panhard bar is a critical component for lateral support. - The notch has a built-in mount for the frame side of the bar, so bolt it onto this mount. - Weld the other end of the panhard bar mount to the rear axle for stabilization.
