Description: Up for sale is one or more replacement LCD Panel for: ELX800 ELX808 FLX800 ELX50 ELX405 MultiFlo MicroFlo (please check fitment before purchase). We were charged with repairing the LCD panels of multiple BioTek microplate devices that were faded, missing characters, lines dropped out, see example photos. The original LCD panel (Hantronix HDM24216H-2-S00F) is no longer available, so we adapted a similar one that works the same. The original part number from Biotek is 04018. All our units are repaired, so the spares are up for sale. All are tested and ready for install. Check for compatibility and be ready for the swap by doing the following:1) Flip unit over and remove 3 bottom feet (small flat bade screw driver) and 2 bottom screws (4mm Allen).2) Remove bottom and gently lay aside with wiring still connected3) Remove 4 screws and rubber washer near corners (flat blade screw driver)4) Reinstall bottom, grasp entire top and bottom of unit and flip over to normal orientation5) Remove cover and gently lay aside then remove the grey ribbon cable from control panel circuit board inside cover.6) Remove clear ribbon cable and 4 screws (standard phillps) on corner of control panel circuit board in top cover before removing7) Remove 4 screws (small phillips) from corner of LCD panel then gently pull straight up.
