After I discovered the problem I contacted the store where I purchased the engine. They would not take it back or exchange. I contacted Bachmann, they would not exchange it either. But, they did offer to repair it for the reasonable fee of $125 and they pay for return shipping. Now, I am offering it here on eBay, at a reduce price, to someone who is willing to take on the repair either at a reliable railroad shop or yourself if you possess the talent and knowledge to do so.Contact BachmannTrack not included.,
