Description: The Arturo Toscanini Recordings Association's 12-inch 33 RPM four-LP box set # ATRA-3011 is "Arturo Toscanini: Pre-War Concerts, Volume 1", subtitled "The Maestro's finest interpretations in excellent sound - half-speed masters." It is mono and undated, but the recordings date back to 1938 and 1939. The track list is printed on the front cover, which should be legible in the first picture. I haven't played them all, but the records look to be in virtually unplayed condition, still beautifully shiny, and with hardly any visible surface wear. And the brief parts that I played sounded as clear and clean as I'd have expected, with minimal background noise, maybe an occasional tick or crackle. I can only hope the parts I didn't pay can live up to the same expectation. The box is in solid and functional condition, but with some tears on the flaps, as well as some typical light surface and edge wear. It comes with four clear plastic inner sleeves.
