Description: Antique T&R Boote Aesthetic Tile With Transfer Pattern "Tea Party For Girls" . Lovely antique tile with an Aesthetic transfer in brown with an ivory ground. The pattern is "Tea Party For Girls". At the center a delightful scene of three little girls having a tea party. Surrounding the scene, a potted Sunflower, a potted Tiger Lilly, and Cherry blossoms. Marked on the reverse with a British Registry mark indicating made in 1882, and a raised H in a circle. Displays besautifully. All measurements are approximate: Tile measures 6" x 6" x 1/4" thick. Good antique condition to commensurate with age and use. No cracks. There is some chipping around the edges, and fine crazing is present.
