Description: Offered is a small circa 1860-1900 Toby Jug. For decades this piece was part of the inventory in a Massachusetts Historical Society Museum which was recently deaccessioned. The condition is very good with mild wear but no cracks, damage, or repairs. The toby measures 6” high. Because so much is the color white, it comes off as a happy little jug. Finally, there is a green mark on the bottom which is hard to read but I can make out the word Germany. Also, someone in its past has written KC 262 and the word Valentine on the Toby’s bottom.
