Description: Here is a very old 23" 5-way jointed teddy bear hard stuffed with straw or excelsior.He is made of mohair. His eyes are clear glass and his pads are felt with wear from age .One paw has a "bandage". Back then you did not get many toys so Mom would bring out the sewing needle instead of throwing toys away.He growls - a lot (almost grumpy bear).He is in very nice condition for his age. c. 1920's -1930'sLast photo shows other early bears I have listed.
