Antique Japanese Wood Okimono Seated Figures - Jurojin, Benten of 7 Lucky Gods

Description: DESCRIPTION: 2 antique Japanese carved wood okimono of 2 seated figures, most likely Jurojin & Benten (Benzaiten) of the 7 Lucky Gods. Interesting part is Jurojin holding a knife, instead of a staff/book/fan. Do not know what kind of wood, light weight but has very tight smooth surface. The Jurojin's hat, Benten's headdress & biwa, are stained in lighter color than the rest. Unsigned. Hard to capture the color. Not as reddish in some pics. In general is dark brown but Benten is darker than Jurojin. SIZE: Jurojin: approx. 6 inches tall & 5 in. wide, weight about 7.1oz Benten: approx 5 11/16 in tall, 4.75 in wide, & about 6.4oz CONDITION: The head/top of the biwa is lost. Overall many old chips & flea bites on most edges & extremities. Minor scratches, rubs, dirts, dust, … etc. SHIPPING: International please email.
