Description: I have a very nice Disston & Sons finishing saw for sale. This saw has been cleaned up and needs a sharpen.... it could be cleaned up more. The handle is in good condition with very good horns that are not repaired... very nice lighter wood.. The nuts are all original and hold correctly. The medallion is early and readable. The steel is in pretty good for its age. It has very good depth at 2 1/4" at the tip and has the tipple present. These are great older saws that will take a good edge... they are harder to find in this condition... I don't see a stamp plate, however the nut pattern and rounded back makes it pretty old. There is a tiny bit of the stamp but un readable, so I can't tell you the number sorry. This saw has good weight and will perform really well when sharp.... a very good saw, better than most.
