Description: Antique Brown Transferware J.F Wileman Foley “Ivy” Luncheon Plate. Per Godden, this was made by James F. Wileman , Foley Potteries, Fenton, Longton, Staffordshire Potteries, England, c.1869-92. It features a brown transferware pattern, “Ivy” encircling the rim of the plate, which measures 9-1/4” in diameter. It is in very good condition with no cracks or chips noted; there is fine crazing with some discoloration and light scratching consistent with age and use.
