Made in USA.The Brown & Sharpe Rolling Mill Caliper is in very good working condition considering its age, and guaranteed to be fully functional. These types of Calipers are hard to find. There are some staining spots on it due to age & storage. However, there is no previous owner's name marked on it. This rolling mill caliper gage is made of tool steel, drop-forged. It is a strong tool designed to withstand the severe strains of use on a heavy class of work as in measuring sheet iron and steel in rolling mills. The jaws are hardened. This tool is 5 -13/16" long and 7/3" thick. The jaws are 2â…›" deep and can be drawn apart to measure 4". The slide can be clamped securely in position by the clamp nut.
