This leaf shaped Dagger has an asymmetric double-edged blade. The smooth-to-the-touch ivory-tone handle (hilt) is two-sectioned, separated by ebony colored spacer of unknown material (missing pieces). It is embellished with a silver-tone spire Pommel Cap with wire wrappings...2 1/2". The blade has substantial surface rust and has not been cleaned. The hand crafted Leather Sheath is adorned with (2) sets of alternating green and white wrappings and accented with (3) red and white geometric diamond shaped designs with gold center wrapping (shows wear). The back leather cover appears to be of a different grade of leather than the aged front, and perhaps newer. There is a hand sewn leather belt loop attachment on the back, but no belt. Measurements: Length, Dagger & Sheath...17", Dagger Length...15 1/2", Dagger blade length...8", Dagger Blade width at widest point...1 1/2", Sheath length...9 1/2", Sheath width at widest point...2 1/4". I am not certain of the actual age of this Dagger & Sheath and there are no markings to identify age or maker. This Dagger & Sheath are in good used condition, with wear consistent with age.
